Light began shinning through my window, and I started to blink – the sun had risen – “crap I stayed up night” I began to think.

I had stayed up all night calling all my friends and family members about being short for rent. t If I didn’t pay my rent today, then the sheriff would have come and evicted me. No one had much money to spare, I was extremely scared. All I could keep thinking was about trying to figure out where I was going to live, if anything short of a miracle the eviction was going to happen.

I kept recalling the day before. I had walked into the office of Claget Property Management. I had politely came in and spoke to the secretary and then later my meeting with Mr. Wolf. My conversation with him was fairly brief I came in hoping that the new nice image meant something “look I have fallen into some what of hard times, I am just making 11 dollars an hour, a lot of stuff is going up in price”

Understanding Class and Tea Parties

Let’s talk about class, let’s talk about Obama, let’s talk about socialism.

Understanding the Tea Party movement:

Many progressives do not understand working class people or how to engage them. Of course working class people are going to blame the person in charge right now. Leftists have been hesitant about holding obama’s feet to the fire. Which has allowed right wingers to control this movement of genuinely angry people.

The folks that seem most interested in heckling them are largely bourgeoisie leftists. Literally class war fare – rich people calling out poor people for opposition to Obama’s policies.

Why shouldn’t they be angry as their wages decrees, taxes increase, and all around them they are not getting any help.

My real question for you is why aren’t you acting in a manner that demands a better society. If you are upset about how things are going, why are you not being loud? Where is your voice and where is your opposition.

Everyone agrees it’s about explode. But what explosion is coming and how are we going to participate? Are we going to allow our selves to be silenced and expect the Obama administration or are we going to create our own visions of how society must be run?

identity politics according to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy:

“The laden phrase “identity politics” has come to signify a wide range of political activity and theorizing founded in the shared experiences of injustice of members of certain social groups. Rather than organizing solely around belief systems, programmatic manifestoes, or party affiliation, identity political formations typically aim to secure the political freedom of a specific constituency marginalized within its larger context. Members of that constituency assert or reclaim ways of understanding their distinctiveness that challenge dominant oppressive characterizations, with the goal of greater self-determination. ”

Well, I can’t say no one relates to them. I am sure loads and loads of people relate to them in some degree. I do not.

Why I am going to Pittsburgh

The question comes down to this, what are we doing to reclaim the mantle of dissent. Right wingers are calling for a defense of capitalism. They are right, they are on the defensive these days, world wide anti-capitalist struggles are exploding.

I could easily make you a list of places we are winning. I won’t you need to read about those your self. I’ll give you some examples to start insurrection in Greece, Housing Strike in the Mid-West, Boss Napping in France and Worker Occupations in the global south. We are seeing a world wide revolution.
If you follow the news, it’s been great for us, even in the United States.

The question comes down to this, will you participate or will you sit and watch? Pittsburgh gives us a small chance, it gives us a place for us to ferment dissent and rekindle anarchist opposition in the United States.

Do-It Your Self: Don’t rely on politicians.

We still are making demands to A) government B) framing the debate in corporate ethics.

Which is something, that most liberals are doing, anarchists need to break free and push a different agenda.

These aren’t the worst things ever, but what does it say that about our selves?

Often times anarchists are the driving force behind these issues, do we insert our (anti-) politics into the debate? Do we demand communities effected by the problem lead it or make it into a place to put gas where the is fire and make direct confrontation a key part of the debate.

Maybe the reason why we haven’t seen an increase in anarchist or wide spread adoption of militant tactics is that we frame our selves as liberals. Time after time I have been to mass mobilizations where anarchists did much of the on the ground organizing for liberal Non-Government Organizations or Progressive Organizations..

IF we don’t take our selves serious, or attempt to put our views into the national debate we will never get anywhere.

Anarchist dream of a big world, and I don’t wanna give up on anarchy, I wanna make my politics relevant not become a supporting act in liberal campaign.

In my opinion, anarchists need to learn to separate them selves from the left all together. It’s notion of reforms, and the practice of controlling people’s desires. If we want to move forward we need to learn how to not rely on radicalization of liberals or use their language. Other wise we will end up getting the same results as liberals.

Which is largely a white middle class kids.

Smash the Rich Kids and Play Ground Bullies.

Picture a little kid crying because of places where they played were cut apart. No one would like to see the site, but that’s what we have all over the world. Places where little kids played turned into misery, that is the world and that what capitalism is, no one really understands it. Just our places of play and desire are constantly being fucked with.

I want anarchy for me because I feel like all of my experiences has pushed me towards one direction:
we need to save our playgrounds.

As I said I can give you reasons, this article isn’t for giving reasons it’s to tell you a story I can give you a few reasons why I became interested in Anarchism. In the end I just want people t o be treated well, the earth to not be fucked with and animals not to be tortured.

This is what I want, and anarchy maybe will bring that, maybe it won’t either way it couldn’t possible do worse than this society.
